Jake Walsh charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon following stabbing

An 18-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon, following a stabbing.

The attack happened in Broadstairs the early hours of yesterday morning.

A 26-year-old man was stabbed multiple times just after 2am, and was taken to a London hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing for information after the raid

He is recovering in hospital.

Jake Walsh, aged 18, of Upton Road, Broadstairs was arrested in connection with the attack and has now been charged.

Walsh has been remanded in custody to appear at Chatham Magistrates’ Court on Monday. November 14.

A second man arrested, also aged 18, has now been released without charge.
