Man electrocuted at building site in Effingham Street, Ramsgate

A man has been taken to hospital after he was electrocuted at a building site.

Police and paramedics were seen in Effingham Street, Ramsgate , this afternoon.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service say they were called at about midday after a report a person had been electrocuted.

Paramedics assessed and treated the patient before he was taken to QEQM Hospital in Margate.

Police were also called to the building site and a spokesperson said the Health and Safety Executive had been informed.
