A man has been taken to hospital after falling out of a window as police were making an arrest at a property.

Emergency services taped off part of the High Street in Margate following the incident this afternoon.

The cordon remained in place for some time near to the Six Bells Children’s Centre.

The incident occurred while police officers were at the address to carry out an arrest.

Details of the arrest, and the exact circumstances of the fall, are not yet known.

The road has since been reopened.

Police have been contacted for further comment.
