A man has been found dead near a children's play area.

The discovery was made yesterday afternoon in Margate.

A police spokesman said: "Officers were called to a wooded area in Tivoli Road in Margate at around 1.30pm on Monday, June 10, following a report that the body of a man in his 30s had been found.

"Officers attended and the man's death is not being treated as suspicious.

"A report is being prepared for the Coroner."
