A man was taken to hospital after suffering burns in a fire at a bungalow.
Crews in three fire engines were called to Central Road in Ramsgate just after 11.30pm on Wednesday to tackle the blaze which completely destroyed the roof and caused smoke and heat damage.
A hose reel jet and a fog spike, which stabs through walls and sprays water inside, were used to extinguish the fire.
It is believed to have started due to overheated electrical equipment in the loft space.
