A man was allegedly punched in the face as he walked along a Ramsgate street while using his iPhone.

Kent Police say the 31-year-old was approached by two male cyclists in South Eastern Road, one of whom demanded the victim's mobile phone before attacking him.

The two suspects, one of whom was wearing a white top, then rode off, making no attempt to take the iPhone.

The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene for a small cut to his head.
Details about the incident, which happened at around 8pm on Tuesday, September 20, have only just been released.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kent Police on 01622 690690, quoting reference number EY/015022/10. Alternatively, call Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
