Kent police are investigating after a teenager was stabbed during an annual Jamaican beach party in Margate at the weekend.

Officers were called to the town seafront at 5:35pm yesterday (Sunday) afternoon where a 19 year old man suffered non life-threatening injuries.

A police spokesperson confirmed the man was taken to hospital after suffering a puncture wound to his leg.
