Margate: Woman taken to QEQM after crash in King Street

A woman has been taken to hospital after being involved in a crash this morning.

Emergency services were called to King Street, Margate, at about 10.15am.

There are warnings of traffic delays in the area as of the cars involved is awaiting recovery.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 10.15am to reports of a collision involving two cars on King Street at the junction with Bath Road.

"A woman driving one of the cars has been taken to the QEQM Hospital by SECAmb.

"One of the cars is currently blocking the crossroads and is due to be recovered later this morning.

"Traffic is passable but delays are possible."

The ambulance service has been contacted for more inforamtion.
