Kent Police appeal after masked robber attacks pair in Cliftonville home

A couple in their 60s were attacked in a terrifying raid on their home by a masked intruder.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the robbery at a private address in Gordon Road in Cliftonville between 1.55pm and 2.25pm on Thursday June 15.

A man is reported to have entered a home and assaulted the occupants, before escaping with a gold watch, jewellery, an iPhone and a quantity of cash.

The raid happened in Gordon Road, Cliftonville

The suspect is described as white, aged about 25 years old, and was wearing a balaclava, silver jogging bottoms, a black top and black Nike trainers.

Officers say they are keen to speak to anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspect. Witnesses are asked to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference number ZY/25749/17.
