A naked man seen acting erratically on Ramsgate seafront has been taken to hospital.

Police were called to Harbour Parade - outside The Pavilion Wetherspoon pub - at 12.10pm today after concerns were raised about his behaviour.

The man is thought to have injured himself after performing a forward flip off a seating area, landing on his back on the concrete ground.

Police officers attended the scene, along with ambulance crews, and the man was taken to hospital.

A spokesman said: "Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing."
