Ramsgate recreation ground cordoned off after woman 'sexually assaulted'

Police cordon off Boundary Road recreation ground in Ramsgate

A recreation ground in Ramsgate has been sealed off today while police investigate an alleged sexual assault.

A woman was reportededly attacked by a man at the park, in Boundary Road, at around 2am.

Kent Police officers cordoned off the perimeter of the park and a forensics team have visited the scene.

The attacker is described as white, large, 6ft, aged between 40 and 45 and with wrinkles on his face, particularly around the cheeks.

He was wearing a dark top and pale-coloured jeans with darker areas on the knees.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to phone DI Chris Carter at Kent Police on 101, quoting reference 17-103 or Kent Crimestoppers - anonymously - on 0800 555 111.
