Those of you who spent hours perfecting your snowman over the last few days just weren't trying hard enough if this impressive snow sculpture is anything to go by.

The 4ft snow lion was crafted by amateur artist Evette Carter in Ramsgate using only a butter knife and her bare, freezing hands.

And it only took the 26-year-old two hours. Hats - or should that be gloves - off to her!
