Police have cordoned off a mini golf course following a reported sex assault in Margate.

The incident is reported to have happened near the Viking Ship children's play area.

Kent Police spokesman Scarlet Jones said: "Police received a report of sexual assault which took place near to Ethelbert Terrace, Margate, shortly after 4.30pm."

Officers are at the scene carrying out inquiries.
