Police release efit of man suspected of assault on woman in St Anthony's Way in Margate

Police officers have issued an efit image of a man they wish to track down following an alleged assault in Margate.

The incident happened shortly before 10am on Monday, July 6 in St Anthony’s Way where a 26-year-old woman was grabbed by the throat.

She was walking in the direction of Invicta House when the suspect is believed to have put his hand around her throat before pushing her away.

Police have issued an efit of the man

The suspect is a black man, aged between 20 and 25 with slightly bent front teeth, and was wearing a black basketball top.

He is reported to have left the scene of the incident with another man. Anyone with information is asked to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/20440/15 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
