Men 'follow' teenage girl in Ramsgate as police investigate

A teenage girl walking her dog was reportedly followed by two men sparking a police investigation.

The youngster was in Windermere Avenue in Ramsgate at around 6pm on Wednesday when she noticed a car was following her.

Police are now investigating after the girl reported the two men got out and started to walk behind her.

It is reported a blue car parked in the nearby Helvellyn Avenue before the pair got out of the vehicle.

She managed to run away and arrive home safely before raising the alarm.

A police spokesman said detectives have started looking into the incident, adding: "No attempts were made to approach her or speak to her. Inquiries into the matter are ongoing."
