The owners of a popular burger restaurant who unexpectedly lost their last premises have told of their “huge relief” after finding a new home.

Dirtee Feast was previously situated inside The Ravensgate Arms in Ramsgate, but the pub closed unexpectedly amid the cost-of-living crisis.

Now, the successful takeaway - which specialises in 12-hour slow-cooked beef brisket - has found a larger venue at The Churchill Tavern.

Owner Dean Adams told KentOnline: “It’s a huge relief – it’s been a stressful two weeks, now we can’t wait to open.”

The restaurant will now have use of the kitchen, seating and bar area at the pub, as well as a function room available to hire.

Doors will open this Friday evening, and new home classics and dessert menus have been created.

Mr Adams continued: “We have all of our ‘Dirtee fans’ messaging us, asking when we will open.

“We are really excited about the new venue, and it will be our permanent home.”

Mr Adams, 38, hopes to offer more to customers, as well as having extra space for his kitchen team.

Dirtee Feast Desserts also opened recently in a phone box outside Ramsgate Wetherspoons.

The “wacky” shop serves topped doughnuts, ice cream nachos and dirty popcorn.
