Ramsgate remain 12th in Ryman League Division 1 South after a 2-1 derby defeat to title-chasing Folkestone Invicta at Southwood on Saturday.

The Rams took the lead in their final home game of the campaign when Rhys Lawson's cross was deflected past his own goalkeeper by Invicta defender Frankie Chappell on 28 minutes.

However Folkestone equalised in added time at the end of of the first half through Simon Austin and a Josh Vincent strike three minutes from time earned Invicta the points.

Jim Ward's side are destined for mid-table, but the defeat did end a run of three consecutive 0-0 draws.
