Ramsgate recorded their first home win in Ryman League Division 1 South since early December with a 2-1 success over Walton & Hersham on Saturday.

Gary Mickleborough made it 2-0 with a 57th-minute penalty after Tom Tsangarides had been bundled over in the box.

Walton & Hersham responded with an 86th-minute strike from Michael Charles, but it was too late to deny Ramsgate their overdue home success.
