A suspected shoplifter has been charged after nine containers of skincare products were reportedly stolen.
The CeraVe products worth a total of £164 were reported stolen from Boots in Margate High Street.
A suspect was identified following a review of CCTV following the incident on January 26 and on Monday (January 29) the same person returned to the store.
This prompted a security guard to broadcast their details via the ‘Shop Safe’ radio to the police.
The High Street’s beat officer PC Stephen Hailey immediately made his way towards the location and made an arrest.
Iuliana Lupu, 37, of Chalkpit Hill, Chatham, has since been charged with theft and bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 1.
