Margate railway station 20-person brawl leaves one teen in hospital and another arrested

A teenage boy is in hospital after he suffered a head injury during a mass brawl at Margate railway station.

Police and paramedics were called following reports of a fight involving as many as 20 people at about 9pm last night.

The incident happened at Margate railway station

Officers attended and arrested a 16-year-old boy from Ramsgate.

Another teenage boy suffered an injury to his head during the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment.

British Transport Police says inquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "One ambulance crew attended the scene and one patient was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment."
