Police appeal after teen 'hit over head and robbed' at Ramsgate recreation ground in Coleman Crescent

A teen was hit over the head and had his glasses stolen in a park robbery committed by a child.

The victim also had a quantity of cash stolen during the incident in Ramsgate on Monday.

He was with his friends at the recreation ground in Coleman Crescent at around 11.30am when he was struck over the head.

He required medical treatment and officers are now looking for a suspect, described as being 4ft and between 12 or 13 years old.

He was wearing black shorts, a black Hoodrich t-shirt and was riding a red bicycle.
