Three women attacked outside pub in Harbour Street in Ramsgate

An attack which left three women outside a pub injured has sparked a police investigation.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after the reported assaults in Ramsgate on Saturday night.

Police said the victims were attacked outside the pub in Harbour Street at around 11.30pm and a man has been arrested in connection with the incidents.

Det Con Matthew Poore said the women suffered 'minor injuries', adding: "We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the assaults or events leading up to them."

A 25-year-old man from Margate was arrested on suspicion of assault but has been released under investigation.
