Pedestrian killed after being hit by Ford Focus in Ramsgate

A pedestrian in his 20s has died after being hit by a car.

The young man was pronounced dead at the scene in the early hours of this morning in Ramsgate.

He was hit by a light blue Ford Focus at about 3.45am at the junction of Boundary Road and King Street.

The victim's next of kin have been informed. No arrests have been made.

Investigating officers are now urging any witnesses of the collision to come forward.

Police also want to view any dashcam footage that shows the vehicle or pedestrian in the moments leading up to the collision.
