There remains delays to train services following a trespasser on the tracks.

Rail operator Southeastern says trains were being held and could not run through Ramsgate at 7.10pm due to an intruder on the railway.

They later stated the trespasser had been removed from the railway but that services could be delayed or cancelled.

All lines were reported to be back open at around 7.40pm.

However, delays remain on the line and passengers are being advised to check their travel options.

Elsewhere there were delays to services in Tunbridge Wells due to a fire which caused damage near the tracks.
