Police and fire crews at crash on the A299 between the St Nicholas-at-Wade and Monkton roundabouts

Emergency services attended a crash involving two cars and a van.

The multi-vehicle collision happened at 5.55pm yesterday on the London-bound A299 between the St Nicholas-at-Wade and Monkton roundabouts near Birchington.

Witnesses described it as a head-on crash.

The Fire and Rescue Service and police attended the incident.

Police confirmed one man reported back pain and no further injuries reported.
