TWO Gravesend men are due to appear before Thanet magistrates today accused of kidnapping and conspiracy to rob. Shane Edward Jarvis, 30, of Bristol Road, and Patrick Connor, 47, of Tenyson Walk, are charged with being involved in a robbery at the sub-post office at Victoria Road, Margate, last Thursday.

Police say two people were kidnapped and a large quantity of money was stolen. Both alleged kidnap victims were released unhurt.
