Spate of fuel thefts from vehicles in Thanet reported to police

A series of fuel thefts from vehicles have been reported across Thanet.

Five incidents have been reported to police between Friday, February 28 and yesterday in Minster, Ramsgate and Manston.

On February 28, two lorries were targeted on the A229 in Monkton.

A further fuel theft was reported at 6am on Sunday, March 1 at Minster Services, and yesterday, fuel was reported stolen from two more lorries at about 2.45am on the coastbound carriageway of the A229.

Police are urging witnesses to come forward.
