Substantial water leak shuts Hartsdown Academy in Margate

Pupils at a secondary school will return to the classroom tomorrow after being asked to stay home due to a substantial water leak.

Hartsdown Academy in Margate was shut today to students while the school dealt with the issue.

Parents received an email on Wednesday confirming the school in George V Avenue would be shut because of the water leak.

However, pupils have now been told they are able to return tomorrow (October 1).
