RSPCA appeal after reports of woman mistreating dog in Ramsgate Harbour

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a woman was reported to have been mistreating a dog in Ramsgate Harbour.

Several calls were made to inspectors by people who allegedly saw the woman with the dog near to the Mariners Pub about 6pm on Sunday.

RSPCA inspector Claire Carter said: “I’ve had several calls from people concerned about the way this particular owner treats her pets, so I’m keen to speak with her and check on her two dogs.

The incident took place at Ramsgate Harbour

“The dog in question is a medium size bull terrier type that is mostly white with dark brown or black patches, particularly on his or her face.”

The woman has blonde hair, was wearing a red top with a white jacket at the time of the alleged incident and was in a wheelchair.

She was also seen with a labrador-type dog.

Anyone with information is urged to call the RSPCA on 0300 123 8018.
