A woman has been taken to hospital following a medical incident on the seafront in the early hours of this morning.

Police, paramedics and fire crews attended the call-out near Viking Bay in Broadstairs at 2.48am.

A police spokesman said it was a medical incident at a location near Chandos Square.

"A woman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital," she added.
