Harley Davidson motorcyclist seriously injured after crash in Manston Road, Ramsgate

A young motorcyclist has been left seriously injured following a crash last night.

The incident happened yesterday at 8.30pm in Manston Road, Ramsgate, near to Spitfire Way.

Police have now urged the driver of a car parked nearby in a layby to come forward with possible information.

The crash involved a blue Harley Davidson motorbike.

Its rider, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and he was taken to a London hospital for treatment.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are urging any witnesses to come forward with information.

A spokesperson said: "They believe a car was parked nearby in a layby at the time of the incident and the driver may have witnessed the collision and could have information to assist with their enquiries."
