Former Gillingham midfielder Charlie Allen scored two second half goals as Margate came from behind to beat Met Police 2-1 at Hartsdown Park on Tuesday night.

Bradley Hudson-Odoi had given the visitors the lead just before half-time in the Ryman League Premier Division clash.

Allen, the Margate captain, equalised in the 48th minute after he fired home his 10th goal of the season from the middle of the box.

He chalked up his 11th 11 minutes later after his deflected shot beat Met Police goalkeeper Stuart Searle.
