Margate manager Nikki Bull has completed his new-look backroom team.

Former Welling United coach Paul Barnes will fill the same role at Hartsdown and Bull admits he is delighted to have him on board for the 2016/17 season.

He added: “Paul was recommended to me by several people and upon meeting him within five minutes I knew I had found the right man.

“He is an excellent coach who will implement and put into practice the style of play that I want my team to demonstrate this season.”

Also returning this season is goalkeeping coach Stacey Beckham, who joined the club last December after a spell at Welling United.

Bull explained: “Stacey is someone that I have forged a positive working relationship with. Even though his official title is goalkeeping coach he brings so much more than that.

“I trust Stacey and that is vital in this line of business and his hard work over the past few weeks in helping me recruit players has been so valuable to Margate Football Club”.

These two appointments follow that of Mick Quinn as Head of Medical Services two weeks ago.
