11th suspect charged over £53m depot robbery

DETECTIVES have charged a 53-year-old man in connection with the £53million Securitas depot raid in Tonbridge.

Keith Borer, a sign writer, of Hempstead Lane, Yalding, near Maidstone, is accused of handling stolen goods in relation to Britain's biggest ever cash robbery.

Police say he has been released on bail to appear before magistrates in Maidstone on Tuesday, July 11.

The number of people charged with offences linked to the robbery has now risen to 11.

Most of those charged are due to appear at the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing on Monday.
