A teenager spat blood and phlegm in the face of a police officer after being arrested.
Patrols were called to Scott Road in Tonbridge on Monday following reports of a disturbance and arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of a public order offence, criminal damage and possessing cannabis.
During the arrest, it is alleged he assaulted two officers while spitting blood and phlegm.
The teenager was later released pending further investigation.
