Bin and recycling collections in Tonbridge and Malling will be kept to a minimum, according to the council

Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council is aiming to keep disruptions to refuse and recycling collections to a minimum during Christmas.

As Christmas Day falls on a Thursday this year, some households will have their green-lidded bin service suspended to ensure that no household goes more than 15 days between black bin collections.

Full details will be delivered to each household in the borough during December.

The new service was introduced in July 2013
