A young entrepreneur has set up shop near his home - and already seems to have a sweet future ahead of him.

Ethan Tapsell, who is 7-years-old, took it upon himself to set up a homemade lemonade stall to whet the whistle of all his local residents.

He placed the stand at the end of Great Courtlands in Langton Green and started selling his product to neighbours, friends and even cyclists passing through.

Ethan's brother Isaac, aged 5, was keen to offer a helping hand wherever he could.

Dad, Matt Tapsell, said: "Ethan was up at 5.30am making his lemonade. Isaac was up too and helped as much as possible, they were so excited.

"The idea was so sudden, he saw a recipe for lemonade and was inspired to make it so off he went."

Local residents and people passing through stopped to buy a refreshing glass of lemonade from Issac and Ethan Taspell

The business-minded duo opened their stall at 10am on Saturday June 21 and managed to sell their whole four litres of lemonade in just two hours.

A cup of lemonade was sold for 25p and at the end of play the boys made a profit of £9.

Ethan decided to donate half of his makings to the NSPCC, Matt said:"The boys were absolutely delighted at the amount of money they made and Ethan said he wanted to donate half to charity, it was a lovely idea."

Ethan, 7 and Isaac, 5 with mum Lucy, sold their lemonade to local people and even cyclists passing through

Matt has said Ethan, who attends Langton Green Primary School, would love to set up stall again in the future, and is even considering taking part at the Langton Green village fete.
