Bail granted to man who led police on a 34-mile chase from Tonbridge to Sheerness

Police have bailed a man who led officers on a 34-mile chase from Tonbridge to Sheerness.

The 35-year-old from Hoo was arrested at a holiday park in connection to an earlier burglary in Linden Avenue, Herne Bay on Tuesday Afternoon.

Earlier that day two 15-year-old boys, also from Hoo and a 38-year-old man from Wainscott were arrested in connection to the same crime after their car was stopped in Major York's Road, Tunbridge Wells.

All four suspects were bailed until Thursday, October 27.
