Staff from a fruit production company in Tonbridge have travelled over 2000 miles in 48 hours in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

Berry Gardens MD Nick Marston with co-driver David Macgregor battled against the elements and completed this year's club Triumph Round Britain run raising over £4,000.

The duo used Nick’s beloved Triumph TR6, - which at just over 40 years old was the youngest member of the team.

Covering a total of 2020 miles in 48 hours the event started on Friday, October 3 and finished in Essex on Sunday October 5.

The team battled against torrential rain on the Friday night with the TR6’s windscreen wipers on overdrive and then enjoyed the autumn sunshine on Sunday - even daring to have the top down.

To date Nick and David have raised just under £4,300 for MacMillan Cancer Support with the generosity of their Berry Gardens colleagues in Tonbridge and partner Driscoll’s.
