The drama unfolded on Friday in Hadlow Road, Tonbridge.

Several members of the public reported seeing the animal walking up the road towards Bourne Lane and called the police.

But the horse carried on its journey and ended up in a swimming pool in a garden around 7am. It was spotted when the person who lives there was getting ready for work.

Reports suggest police were called but did not attend the incident and the horse was later reunited with its stables.
