Man arrested and suspected drugs seized after police search car in Quarry Hill, Tonbridge

Twenty wraps of suspected class A drugs were seized after police stopped a car.

Patrols from the Community Policing Team stopped the driver of a car in Quarry Hill, Tonbridge, at about 6pm on Friday.

The drugs, believed to be cocaine, were recovered along with cash, mobile phones and a knuckle duster, and a 52-year-old man was arrested.

An unknown amount of cannabis and a set of weighing scales were also found by officers who searched a property in Southborough as part of the investigation.

A police spokesman said: "The man arrested has been released from custody pending further investigation."
