A MAN was airlifted to hospital with burns to his hands and face after a house fire.

About 15 firefighters from Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, and Borough Green, were called to the blaze in Linden Court, Tonbridge, just after 2.50pm on Wednesday.

Three women were led to safety by fire crews.

The cause of the blaze in unknown. Crews were stood down just after 4pm.
