Dog owner Christopher Burns has made his own personal plea for thieves to return five spaniels stolen along with his Land Rover.

The three springer spaniels and two cocker spaniels were in the back of the green Land Rover pick-up when thieves took it from Mr Burns' driveway in Powder Mills in Leigh, near Tonbridge, between 4.35pm and 5pm last Friday, November 28.

The dogs were all micro-chipped and contained in a silver box divided into three kennels on the back of the vehicle.

Mr Burns believes the thieves may not have realised the dogs were in the vehicle, and hopes they may still be returned.

Anyone with information should call 01732 379217 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
