Police appeal after 'sex assault'

TWO men are being asked to contact police in West Kent following an alleged sexual assault on a woman.

The alleged incident occurred between 2.30am and 3.10am in the River Lawn area of Tonbridge, opposite the SoS nightclub, on Saturday, July 29.

Police media officer Anne McCarthy said: "At the time of the alleged incident, two men walked past a man and a woman and made some comments about what was happening between the man and woman.

"Police would like to talk to the two men as they may have information that can assist their investigation."

The woman allegedly assaulted lives in the Tonbridge area. A man has been arrested and is on police bail.
