Tonbridge: Man arrested after 'exposing himself to joggers before trying to assault police officers' near Avebury Avenue

A suspected flasher said to have exposed himself to two joggers before trying to assault police officers in Tonbridge has been arrested.

The man reportedly flashed two women in the Avebury Avenue area at around 12.50pm on Monday.

Officers attended the scene and arrested a 33-year-old suspect from Oxted, Surrey.

Following his arrest he then allegedly tried to assault police officers.

He was taken into custody and subsequently released pending further investigation.
