KENT Police have named a man found dead on the carriageway of the A26 near Hadlow in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Gavin Moule, 20, lived with his girlfriend Kirsty Anderson in Trench Road, Tonbridge. Police are not treating his death as suspicious. It is thought that Mr Moule may have collapsed after a night out.

His body was discovered by a passing motorist shortly after midnight in Maidstone Road, about one mile east of Hadlow.

An inquest into the death was opened and adjourned on Tuesday following a post mortem examination.
