A driver was found to be more than four times over the legal drink-drive limit - after police became suspicious of the way he was acting in a petrol station.

The car was stopped in Shipbourne Road, Tonbridge, where roadside breath tests were carried out and the man, in his 40's, was arrested.

Once at a police station the man gave a reading of 155 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

He also gave a positive test for cocaine. Kent Police's Roads Policing Unit released the details of the incident over Twitter.

Kent Police said the man is in police custody.
