Volunteer Kent police officer Richard Fagg charged with controlling behaviour

A volunteer police officer is set to appear in court after being charged with controlling and coercive behaviour.

Richard Fagg, previously from the Tonbridge area, will appear before Maidstone Magistrates Court on September 5.

The 34-year-old, who is a special constable, was charged with the offence today.

He was initially arrested and suspended from duty on March 23.

The officer will be subject of a conduct review by Kent Police’s Professional Standards Department following the conclusion of court proceedings.
