Seven 'illegal immigrants' detained at immigration facility in Dover after being found in back of lorry by Kent Police in Paddock Wood

Seven suspected illegal immigrants have been found in the back of a lorry in Paddock Wood.

The group, believed to be from Eritrea, has now been transferred to an immigration facility after being detained.

Police were called at 11.25am yesterday after reports of seven men in the back of a lorry in Transfesa Road.

Officers transferred the men to the Home Office immigration enforcement centre at Dover.
