Trains not calling at Hildenborough station after person hit on tracks between Tonbridge and Sevenoaks

Trains will not be able to call at Hildenborough railway station for most of today after a person was hit on the tracks last night.

All services were suspended in the area for more than an hour between Tonbridge and Sevenoaks following the incident, which happened at 9pm.

Rail operator Southeastern has now confirmed trains will not be able to stop at Hildenborough until approximately 4pm.

A shuttle bus is running between Hildenborough and Tonbridge for train connections.

British Transport Police has been contacted for comment on the incident.
